Voice Therapy is a behavioral intervention to manage a voice disorder in which an SLP guides a client in adjusting behaviors that impact vocal health and function.

Professional Voice Rehabilitation is a behavioral intervention to manage a voice disorder that interferes with professional speaking and singing in which an SLP guides a client in adjusting behaviors that impact vocal health and function.

Occupational Voice Training is behavioral training in which an SLP guides a client in adjusting behaviors that facilitate exceptional vocal abilities to complete professional vocal activities (e.g., sing, speak loudly).

Gender Affirmative Voice and Communication Support is a behavioral intervention in which an SLP supports the development of voice and communication to align and affirm one’s gender identity.

Cough Suppression Therapy is a behavioral intervention in which an SLP guides a client in adjusting behaviors that contribute to chronic cough.

Breathing Retraining Therapy is a behavioral intervention in which an SLP guides a client in adjusting behaviors that contribute to inefficient breathing.

Vocal Injury Prevention Training is a behavioral intervention to avoid voice problems from occurring in the first place and (2) to stabilize and improve any early changes from deteriorating further.

Speech Therapy is a behavioral intervention in which an SLP addresses speech impairments (e.g., articulation, fluency, speaking rate, intonation, speech motor planning, etc) that limit speaking activities and life participation.

Swallowing Therapy is a behavioral intervention in which an SLP addresses swallowing impairments that limit one’s ability to eat and drink effectively, efficiently, and safely.
